    alright ive been bored so i think i want to buy a PS2 game, but im not sure what i want. a sports game of course, but since i have to wait a couple more months before NCAA 2005 and madden 05 come out, i need something different. ive been kinda looking and it seems as if the only other sports games right now are baseball (mvp and espn).

    the reason i like sports games is strictly due to dynasty modes and ive heard mvp is best for that.

    so what is everyones opinion?? whats the best sports game out right now?

    if you are bored maybe a sports game isnt what you want. they do get old and boring. what you may want to do is buy the new hitman or something like that.

    but if you are going to go with a baseball game i would suggest ESPN. IMO the GM career is much better then the dynasty mode in MVP...but i say rent both of them and see for yourself...

    1- get online play, not that expensive and its great

    2- buy ESPN NFL FOOTBALL 2005, it will own u. Madden SUCKS

    3- Join a league ill be in for ESPN NFL FOOTBALL 2005 and all will be right with the world.

    Just get MVP. Its a more solid overall experience than ESPN. Its amazingly realistic and addictive...

    I have mvp and i think its great. I haven't seen espn so i dont know how good it is but mvp has a good dynesty mode and good gameplay too.

    I own a Gamecube so theres no reason to buy ESPN, because it doesn't have online capabilities...

    I own the cube and I have MVP. Great game. The game play is very realistic and the faranchise mode is very deep. Almost too deep. Commentary is decent, though I only have Madden to compare it to. I wish it had "pickup" games like all-star 2003, but oh well. Still, a very good game. Will keep you plenty entertained.

    I buy the sports game based on the dynasy modes and mvphas the best one for baseball. Also mlb05 has a really good one but the gameplay isnt as good as mlb but i think the franchise is alot better

    You should look into getting Fight Nights. It's a boxing game but boy would that game keep you entertained. I like it. You should look into it.

    I was going to rent Fight Night last week but they didn't have it. Had to get NFL Street instead. Fight Night looked pretty fun.
