i just got back from a road trip to LA, i saw the dodgers clinch the division against the giants in the fucking 9th inning and then listened to the astos clinch trhe wild card on the way back.....not a good fucking weekend to say the least.....so many ddoger fans were fucking with us after that grand slam, it has to be the most painfull inning ive whittnessed in person and the second most ive whitnessed period behind game 6 in 02, it just fucking blows knowing that there could be a 1 game playoff had hermanson not fucking sucked

personally, I'm thrilled... I am not a huge Barry Bonds fan and whenever something goes bad for him.. it puts a smile on my face. As far as Dodgers in playoffs, they playing the Cards, but who knows upsets can happen

The giants did a lot with a little this yr. If anything you have to say damn we cut spending and only have 2 all-stars, 1 of which was barely over .500 in the 2nd half (schmidt) and the other is taken out of the game 90% of the time, while doing so he did hit 40+ Homers and drive in 100+ rbi's, while hitting .360+, if hes not MVP then we know the best player didnt win the mvp this year. Although, i am disgusted with the end of the year, i applaude the giants for their effort, and look foward to next year. Thank you San Fran. G-Men.

agreed, this marks a half century with no world series title, all it would of taken for another playoff run was 1 more good releiver....... hopefully with the freed up money we can put a better team out next year

bonds, alfonso, durham and tucker are locked up on offense, along with the assortment of young players in arbitration

schmidt, rueter, herges and eyre are locked up on pitching, also tomko has an option along with christiansen, and young pitchers will be back because they havent been ion the majors for 3 years (i.e foppert, williams, lowry, aardsma)

thats a lot of holes that need to be filled but we have a lot of freed up money to do so
