WHY would you DEGRADE YOURSELF!?

It's obvious enough that New York loves their Yankees. Those in every other city of this country HATE them. Maybe it has been because of their history of dominance, maybe it's their CHEAPSHOT plays that umps wont call, either way.. People want something new. Yankees get old. Anyways, back to my point...

Every year, you see a HOT free agent sign with the Yankees. Whether the contract is big, I'm sure the Yanks dont give a sh*t. I've noticed that players I once had deep interests are in the DECLINE after sporting those brooklyn stripes.

Stars such as:
A-Rod
K. Brown
Mussina
Giambi
And the list just goes on and on...

Obviously they all have been ALL-Stars but honestly, their values have all decreased on my count. Once fan favorites, now.. its like we enjoy seeing them suffer. I guess this statement somewhat relates to loading up a team with more talent than team skills. Whether this is true or not... We view these players a little differently. If half the all-star team is half full of yanks, I'm sure the hate will just grow even more. Other players will feel more deserving of the chance to play but because the yanks have em, is it right to just allow that?

Don't get me wrong, I love those players.. but they are slowly dying on me.. what do YOU think?

High-priced, big name stars coming to New York and performing below their usual standards... Hmmmm...

Maybe the Curse of the New York Rangers is seeping into the Yankees organization???
